The Great Escape (TGE) returned to Brighton in May and showcased 450 emerging artists from all over the world. SoundCity has developed a close partnership with TGE in recent years which has enabled young local talent to showcase their work.
This year three acts that took part in our annual Sounds from the City event were lucky enough to be invited to take part in the TGE Street Party. Two open air performance areas were set up in Jubilee Street and the acts attracted good appreciative crowds.
Thanks to our friends at the TGE for providing these opportunities for local young people and we look forward to working together for TGE 2017.
