A big thank you to all our supporters for your generosity to encore throughout 2016. It’s been a great year so far and we have raised just over £8,300 from concert collections, donations from individuals and grants from foundations.

Would you like to hold a house concert with Brighton Youth Orchestra/String Ensemble?
We are offering two new dates for house concerts with the string ensemble or other sections of the orchestra, open to anyone who would like to host a fundraising event for encore. Can you squeeze 30-40 people into your home? In the past we have brought in chairs, used kitchens and gardens, been half inside, half outside so your house doesn't need to be huge! The aim of these house concerts is to extend our donor and supporter network, so we ask you to be the concert host, sell as many seats as possible to your friends, family or neighbours and welcome people into your home. We will promote the concert to other encore members, help you with practicalities and bring the orchestra with a guest musician.
