On Saturdays 11 and 18 March, BHMA presents its first ever, free String Festival. Aiming to provide young string players (grade 2-6) from across Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex with an opportunity to perform in their first string orchestra, the festival will also include musicians from the service’s most advanced string players (BYOSE). These talented musicians will proffer invaluable tuition and guidance to their younger counterparts.
Lisa de Simone (Festival Founder and Head of Strings Curriculum at BHMA) is committed to investing in the future of all string players across the county and providing the first performance opportunities for our youngest musicians just starting out.
