We are pleased to announce dates for the Brighton & Hove Music & Arts Music Summer School 2018. For the first time we will be working in partnership with Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, where the majority of courses will be hosted between 11 and 20 July.
Being able to access this fantastic professional arts venue is an exciting development for our Summer School and in 2018 we will create a mini music festival - with 17 courses and performances by young musicians taking place over 10 days in July.
There are opportunities for young musicians of all ages to get involved, from those who enjoy music but may have no prior experience through to pupils in the early stages of learning an instrument and for more advanced players. This year’s programme includes opportunities for complete beginners in ukulele, singing and music technology; alongside workshops, bands and ensembles for more experienced young musicians. Every course culminates in a celebration performance.
