The Brighton Phil at Brighton Dome: the same excellent orchestra, a new approach to programming

Christian Garrick and friends from Christian Garrick Quartet

Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra's (BPO) 2019/20 season looks a little different from usual, mixing the symphonic repertoire (including the ever-popular New Year's Eve Gala) with concerts showcasing the talents of their wonderful musicians in different sections of the orchestra, as well as an exciting array of guest artists including; Thomas Gould (violin), Natalie Murray-Beale (conductor), Ailish Tynan (soprano), Thomas Carroll (cello) and the irrepressible Worbey & Farrell (four hands on one piano).

The opening concert of the season on Sun 10th Nov at Brighton Dome sees the Brighton Philharmonic Strings joined by "Violin Operator" Christian Garrick & Friends from the Budapest Café Orchestra. Guests can expect jazz, tango, classical & gypsy folk hijinks including John Dankworth's jazz Violin Concerto, Piazzolla's Four Seasons and Libertango, and the theme tune from Poldark!

The BPO are also kindly offering a special promotional discount to Brighton & Hove Music & Arts friends and family! This includes best seats available at the reduced price of £16.50 for adults with a free accompanying child. Valid on all Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra concerts at Brighton Dome this season.
