Whether you are a returning artist or a new recruit we want your musical creativity. Rappers, singers, writers, composers, first timers, experienced veterans; young people from all backgrounds are welcome. This is about having fun, learning new skills and best of all it's FREE... snacks are provided.
We are excited to bring back this November two music sessions for young people; 'SoundCity Drop In' in East Brighton and 'U Studios 2' in Hangleton & Knoll. All sessions are led by experienced staff from SoundCity partner organisations: The Trust For Developing Communities, The Hangleton & Knoll Project, Brighton & Hove Music & Arts, Brighton MET and AudioActive.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
The sessions are ALL FREE and for people aged 13-19
Drop-in... come to one, or come to all of them!
Do your own thing or pick up a new instrument like guitar/bass/drums with EXPERT GUIDANCE from AudioActive music leaders.
EXPERIMENT and EXPRESS yourself using professional recording studio facilities and equipment.
In February half term, everyone will have the chance to record their music on an EP at professional studios, Bottega Rooms.
In May we will be offering performance opportunities at Brighton Festival's Our Place community event and AudioActive's all ages event Kustom Vibes.
