Partners/Teachers: Get Involved

To help SoundCity www.soundcitybh.org monitor and develop music provision for children and young people across the city, we have a network of Hub Working Groups which meet throughout the year. Each group involves local teachers and SoundCity partners and is focused on an identified area of local need.

So far this term, three of the groups have met and are working on exciting projects which include the ‘Songs to Share’ vocal leadership programme; supporting the delivery of the new National Curriculum for Music; looking for opportunities to work together to apply for funding; and developing an inclusive digital music experience – the ‘Motion & Sound Lab’.

Meetings provide a great forum for partners to come together, to network and crucially to spotlight and share effective practice. For more information or to get involved with Hub Working Groups please contact Emma Collins emma.collins@brighton-hove.gov.uk
