Parents & Friends Association raises thousands for instruments and equipment
With their regular coffee shop and concert refreshments, organised by volunteers in the Parents and Friends Association, funds have been raised to be spent exclusively on instruments and equipment for use with Music Centre ensembles.
Recent purchases have included a Clavinova, guitar and bass amps, a piccolo, new skins and covers for a timpani, a new podium (to replace the one left at a tip in Holland following it’s disintegration on tour with BHYP!), and a regular donation to the instrument repair budget for the upkeep of purchases.
The Music & Arts service is extremely grateful to those parents and friends who give up their time and hard work to raise these extra funds.
